Our trip in detail

We start from the village of Tagounite in the province of Zagora. Every day the bus from Marrakech via Ouarzazate and Zagora arrives in the village at 8:50 p.m. We, M'Barek and Jessica, are already waiting for you at the bus station full of anticipation and will take you and your luggage to the Romana Garden property OR to the accommodation of your choice.

We leave the next morning at 9:00 a.m. We take a few breaks along the way. M'Barek will share his knowledge about life as a nomad with you on the go. Around midday we reach a small traditional nomad camp. Lunch is already waiting for you. You enjoy the silence and let yourself be pampered.

We soon reach the dunes and the beautiful camp. You have time to arrive. In the dunes we enjoy tea and listen to the silence.
Dinner is prepared at the camp and is simply delicious.
Traditional music awaits you around the campfire.

The next morning you can lie under the starry sky early in the morning and wait for the pearl-colored sun to reveal itself in front of you. After a hearty breakfast, we slowly walk back towards Tagounite with a short stopover and reach the village in the afternoon. You can enjoy another night with us in Romana Garden or catch the bus directly at 4 p.m. towards Ouarzazate / Marrakech.

If you stay with us, Jessica will welcome you with tea and lunch in Romana Garden. She guides you through the project and brings you into contact with permaculture.

The bus to Marrakech leaves the village at 7:10 a.m. the next morning.
